Description

This FAO/FAD study analyses and highlights the current structure of the world cassava economy, with emphasis on production, utilisation, trade and prices. It also draws attention to factors affecting future developments, including the results of the Uruguay Round of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). In addition, some of the constraints to the sector's expansion are outlined together with suggestions for the further development of the world cassava economy.
