Proliferation of International Organizations presents the issues discussed during a conference the 18 to 20 November, 1999, in the Academy Building of Leiden University, The Netherlands concerning new international organizations that have been created over the last few years, many with overlapping activities and conflicting competences occur frequently and the need for coordination is evident.
