This text considers how clinical supervision works in practice and aims to resolve practical problems that may arise in this area of teaching. It concentrates primarily on up-to-date models that are currently used and will help qualified nurses communicate the craft knowledge of nursing. Divided into two sections, it firstly considers the role of clinical supervision in professional practice and then moves on to consider clinical supervision in a variety of settings for a range of clinical health care workers and from different perspectives.
