This book addresses clinical challenges and emerging trends in nursing, particularly in relation to psychological, emotional, and social concerns that interfere with the health and well-being of people. Ten crucial clinical problems are presented together with an explanation of how to deal with them. Definitive standards of clinical practice are given and the reader is shown how these standards may be best applied. Part I discusses the nursing process as the care-delivery system used in managing patients' health issues.
