It explains terminology and the legal obligations of schools and approaches for tackling racism. Part 1 is designed for use in staff and institutional development and Part 2 suggests activities for exploring racism in the classroom, and outlines four teaching units. There is also an up-to-date list of supportive publications and organizations and guidance on how to use the "toolkit" to best effect.
