The Nutrition Society celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1991, and this book, presenting the stories and recollections of chairmen, presidents and honorary members, is published to mark the occasion. Written in a lively and popular style, the book provides a fascinating history of the careers of the leading figures in the development of the science of nutrition in the UK in the last half century.
