Description
Earth, spirit, fire highlights the extraordinary creativity of male artists and craftsmen during the Choson dynasty (1392-1910). Together with essays by Australian and Korean scholars, this beautiful publication presents fine examples of Korean ceramics, painting, calligraphy and furniture drawn from the National Museum of Korea, the Ho-Am Art Museum and a small number of other institutions and private collectors in Korea. A co-production by the Powerhouse Museum & Queensland Art Gallery.
