内容説明
The authors of this work argue that for participatory management programmes to be successful they must be part of an overall shift in workplace organization. Areas specified as requiring changes include values, relationships, structures, competencies, leadership, pay systems and information. The text show sthat the change to participatory management won't occur unless all concerned are willing to go through the personal changes needed to operate in such an environment. A practcial, experience-based perspective is offered on how to guide the transition from authoritarian to participatory management. Business life is analyzed in the context of larger socio-political changes towards democracy.
