Description
The focus of this volume is to describe and analyse the evolution of the South China Sea Workshops. The author is optimistic about the prospects of these workshops as confidence-building mechanisms.The South China Sea Workshops are important learning processes for all the participants to learn how to avoid conflicts as well as to promote trust, understanding and cooperation through exchange of views. This book increases our understanding of Taiwan's South China Sea policies in general and the processes of the South China Sea Workshops in particular. The objectives, strategies and constraints of Taiwan's South China Sea policies are discussed.
