Description and Table of Contents
Description
1. The 10th edition of Pharmacology: PreTest will contain 125 new "two-step" questions in clinical vignette format for a total of 500 questions. Specifically, questions will be added in the areas of reproductive pharmacology, antahypolipidemics, anticoagulants, and urinary tract diseases/treatment to highlight new pharmacological developments in these areas. 2. Concise explanations for each question will be referenced to two or three core pharmacology books including Katzung and Goodman & Gilman. They will explain not only why a correct answer is correct, but why incorrect options are wrong. 3. The high-yield fact section at the end of the book will be expanded to include a 2-3 line summary of the approximately 500 commonly used drugs. 4. Drug classification lists at the beginning of each chapter will be updated.
