Description
Interest in the field of research on the role of non-steroidal substances in male and female reproductive functions has been growing recently. This book contains papers giving the latest knowledge and theories of many leading scientists regarding physiological activities, the mechanisms of action, biochemistry and purification of testis-producing and ovary-producing substances - inhibin and gamete maturation regulators. There is a final chapter which suggests the possible role of opioid peptides in gonadotropin secretion as a future field of research.
