Carme Pinos' architecture is noteworthy for its complicity with the territory in which it is located and its desire to transform it. Pinos here presents a number of projects from the decade since 1991 by means of sketches, small models and ink drawings, which illustrate her work methods and her reflections on the relationship between architecture and its surroundings. This book presents most of the projects that have come out of her office since its foundation in 1991. Now (at the beginning of the 21st century) that these projects are beginning to materialize, these pages document, in a format similar to that of an illustrated talk, the re-elaboration of an architectural thinking developed and put into practice throughout extensive professional activity.
