This Proceedings contains the papers presented at the second IFAC Workshop on "Linear Time Delay Systems 2000 (LTD 2000)," held in Ancona, Italy, on 11-13 September 2000. Because time delay systems appear in modelling and a large number of dynamical behaviours, from industrial process control to telecommunication, they are receiving increasing attention and therefore becoming an important subject in scientific literature. This Proceedings demonstrate both theoretical and practical problems associated with time delay systems, whilst introducing new trends. The topics covered include modelling and identification, control issues, stability and stabilization problems, numerical methods for DDE's, development of CAD tools.
