Description
In the 21st century, globalization poses major challenges to the key players in US domestic politics - challenges similar to many America has faced from abroad since the nation's founding. The study of American political development focuses primarily on how domestic politics affects the world arena and not vice versa. This book aims to address the imbalance as ten scholars explore how the changing positions of the United States in the world economy and the international political order have shaped US political institutions and American domestic politics.
