内容説明
This study of Protestantism in Nazi Germany examines the history of Christianity in the relationship between theology and politics, particularly the encounter between German Protestantism and National Socialism. Opening up a comparative viewpoint from which to address the strengths and weaknesses of the individual responses, the authors examine five Protestant or National Socialist types: they are represented by the confessional position of Karl Barth, the neo-Conservative Paul Althaus, the National Socialist Emanuel Hirsch, the Liberal Martin Rade, and the religious Socialist Paul Tilich.
