The prayers for complaint, as conflict talks with God, are among the strongest testimonies of God's saving action in the Bible. Nevertheless, their importance in theology and church has long been overlooked. This volume of the yearbook seeks to do justice to the newly awakened interest in the lawsuit by making fundamental contributions from biblical exegesis, church and theological history, literary studies, and systematic and practical theology.
