内容説明
Endometriosis is one of the most frequently encountered pathologies diagnosed among gynecologic patients. Updated and expanded, this second edition of Dr. R.W. Shaw's highly acclaimed Atlas of Endometriosis emphasizes key developments in diagnosis and treatment. In addition to Dr. Shaw, the authors of this second edition now include Drs. Overton, MacMillan, and Davis, providing broader coverage of specialist topics.
Technology has developed with the use of ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging as an adjunct to the diagnosis of endometriosis. Laparoscopic surgery has become established with studies showing a benefit of surgery for pain and fertility. Laparoscopic equipment and camera technology have resulted in improved quality pictures. Atlas of Endometriosis, Second Edition provides interesting text and a large collection of illustrations that make it an authoritative clinical reference and a useful teaching aid.
