内容説明
This volume combines a literary critical version of genre with a pedagogical conception of ethics. Tomarken's ethical position, influenced by Martha Nussbaum, Emmanuel Levinas, and Wayne Booth, centres upon the teaching of a particular play, poem, drama, or movie. By this means, Tomarken develops a concept of pedagogy that is based upon a critical foundation, one that is theoretially informed but oriented to practice in the classroom.
