内容説明
This book is part of a series which aims to provide both teacher and pupil with a flexible and enjoyable scheme of work. The series deals with the Elizabethan era and this book focuses on Elizabethan explorers. The series has been completely revised, with a short, simple format and larger page size than previously. The series has a commitment to narrative, soundly based on evidence and the illustrations included are treated as evidence. The books pay close attention to appropriate language level and at the end of each chapter there is a section - "Things to do". The books aim to provide pupils with the opportunity to experience history, as history or within an integrated humanities syllabus and to consider what it might have been like to stand in other people's shoes. The books also aim to provide pupils with the enjoyment which comes from learning about historical worlds other than their own.
