内容説明
The first edition of INTERNATIONAL SECURITIES REGULATION by Scott and Wellons presents major regulatory and policy issues about the international aspects of the world's securities markets. The first part covers securities regulation in the three major markets in the world: the United States, the European Union, and Japan. The chapter on Europe emphasises disclosure and the provision of services. International and offshore markets is the subject of the second part. One chapter deals with the markets for eurobonds and global securities. The second examines stock market competition in U.S. and foreign markets, as well as world-wide competition among the markets. The third presents international asset securitization at the transactional level, the evolving law in various markets (the US, Germany, Japan, and India), and the proposed rules for capital adequacy. This book is designed for use in conjunction with a general securities regulation course or as a separate course on international securities regulation.
