Description and Table of Contents

Description

John Austin (1790-1859) was a pre-eminent British jurist of the 19th century. A pupil of Jeremy Bentham, he brought a rigorously analytical approach to jurisprudence, where before there had been muddle and confusion. These volumes are based on lectures given by Austin.
