内容説明
This is a high-level edited collection, featuring original contributions from some of the most important academics in this field (Conrad Lashley, Connie Mok, Julia Christensen Hughes). Using the data gathered by the editors as a springboard, the book provides a thorough examination of the problems and issues raised. Section 1 looks at Employee Resourcing, and features chapters on selection, recruitment and labour turnover - a particular problem for these industries. Section 2 looks at Employee Development. It includes chapters on staff training, multi-site management and reward management. The third and final section of the book, Employee Relations, studies key issues like employee commitment, legislation, flexibility and empowerment.
