A self-assessment guide offering a concise revision course in surgery. Designed as a companion volume to "Lecture Notes on General Surgery", this book is a study aid in the run-up to surgery examinations. The book contains picture tests and clinical case studies which the reader can use to mimic the "oral" and short case examinations. The third edition is pocket sized for ease of use in the clinical setting. It consists of a collection of colour photographs of patients, operations, pathological specimens, X-rays and CT scans. Cases are presented as a photograph with a brief history, followed by questions to test the reader's skills of diagnosis & management. The clinical case scenarios are designed to stretch the reader further and contain detailed explanatory answers.
