内容説明

The core objective of this book is to illustrate how the forces of globalisation impact upon the prospects for sustainable development using Latin America, one of the major emerging regions of the world, as a case study. The book seeks to bring together the two hitherto separate paradigms of globalisation and sustainable development into one analytical framework. This, the authors hope, will increase support for furthering sustainable development in developing countries, in the context of globalisation. Globalisation and Sustainable Development in Latin America includes contributions written by established and respected Latin American authors, translated into English for the first time.
