Description and Table of Contents

Description

This text contains the main statutory provisions regulating the use of IT, whether by business, governmental departments or individuals. The main focus is on statutes but it also includes statutory instruments, including instruments setting out the details of data protection law. EU directives are included, both on data protection and on promotion of e-commerce. Some issues cannot escape being regulated at an international level and this book includes relevant rules, including the dispute resolution rules of the Internet Corporation for Assigning Names and Numbers. The book is intended mainly for undergraduate students taking an optional course in IT law, e-commerce law, cyberspace and the law or computer law on the LLB. It is also suitable for LLM students studying IT Law.
