First published in 1954, this publication has been recognized as an authoritative Hardy bibliography and biography. In this enhanced edition, Charles P.C. Pettit has contributed substantial additional material to aid contemporary readers. An introduction describes the compilation of the text and evaluates its key attributes, its place in the evolution of single-author bibliography and its influence on Hardy studies. There is also a two-part supplement.
