内容説明
Industrial relations in Australia has undergone profound change for which employer associations have been largely responsible. Focusing on seven associations, this text charts the relationship between employer associations and industrial relations change since the early 1980s. They include the most prominent national associations as well as associations that represent employers in particularly important industries. Some have been central catalysts for change; others became its captives. In examining changing product and labour markets, industrial relations traditions, the nature of association membership and the politics of policy-making, the authors hope to break new ground on what employer associations do, how they do it and why.
