内容説明
This book examines the causes and consequences of the explosion at the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl in April 1986, when vast areas of Europe were contaminated by radioactive fallout. The book looks at the events which led up to the accident, its long-term effects and the lessons for the future of the nuclear power industry. Featuring first-hand accounts by survivors, rescue workers and eye witnesses, the book gives a terrifying account of what it is like to live through a nuclear disaster. Mark Bocjun has written for the "Financial Times", "European Energy Report", "Labour Briefing" and others. Viktor Haynes is co-author of "Workers Against the Gulag".
