Capital Markets - Commentary is part of the `Amsterdam Financial Series'. This series offers easy access to the European Community's legislation in the area of financial services, including proposed rules, interpretative communications and non-binding legal acts, as well as case law. It follows up on earlier volumes which offer commentaries on "Banking and EC Law" and "Insurance and EC Law". This publication provides an in-depth analysis of the often complex rules and regulations which the European Community has adopted with view to the establishment of an Internal Financial Market. The commentary provides also clues for working with EC rules in practice.It maps out the relevant provisions and elaborates legal argument with a view to its practical use by private parties, by regulators and supervisors or by those interested in the EC's financial regulations from an academic point of view.
