Automated People Mover (APM) technology presents opportunities for a wide range of cleaner, more efficient community centers in the future. Currently the use of APM systems for mass transit continues to gain momentum with over 100 installations worldwide currently carrying 3.5 million passengers a day safely and reliably. This collection of technical papers presents the state-of-the-art in APM planning, engineering, implementation, and operation.
