Description and Table of Contents
Description
This volume provides a unique life span developmental perspective on a major social problem - aggressive and violent behaviour. Among the topics explored are bullying among schoolchildren, helping families change, wife battering, sex offenders and elder abuse.
Integrating empirical research with clinical applications, contributors start by examining issues in the development of aggressive behaviour in young children and its progression in older children and adolescents. An exploration of the cause, effect and treatment of such behaviour in adults follows.
