Description
The studies in this work attempt to show that racism in the UK and throughout Europe is so pervasive that there is a continual need to face the danger of educational and cultural services operating for purposes of exclusion and with a hidden agenda of national of cultural purity. Compiled by youth workers and youth work educators from the UK and four other European countries, the work presents key principles for the development of anti-racist youth work approaches and activities, and detailed descriptions of exercises, activities and methods they have used to facilitate the development of anti-racist competencies in young people.
