This peer-reviewed proceedings volume consists of 30 papers presented at the ""Probabilistic Approaches & Groundwater Modeling"" symposium during the 2003 EWRI World Congress held June 24-26 in Philadelphia. Sponsored by the ASCE Groundwater Quality technical committee, the symposium brought together researchers and practitioners to discuss state-of-the art techniques for dealing with uncertainty in groundwater modeling and management problems. The papers cover a broad range of topics including Monte Carlo simulation and its variants, geostatistical modeling approaches, groundwater management under uncertainty, uncertainty propagation methods, stochastic modeling applications, and computational tools and techniques.
