Description
Louise Bourgeois, Marlene Dumas, Paul McCarthy and Raymond Pettibon have all investigated the connection between the body, eroticism, sexuality and creativity. This collection of works on paper from the Hauser and Wirth Collections presents extensive groups of work with instructive texts illuminating their comparisons and potential of conflict embedded in the individual artist's work. This catalogue accompanies an exhibition at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden March 15 - May 11, 2003; and MDD Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, Deurle/Belgium October 12 - December 21, 2003.
