内容説明
The House of Lords decision in Re S; Re W (formerly known as Re: W Re W) has important implications for care planning as it provides a comprehensive review of the court's power to supervise the process. "Care Plans and the Human Rights Act: A Special Bulletin" by Robin Tolson QC, is a detailed consideration of the House of Lords judgment, clearly setting out what the child law practitioner needs to know for future child care cases, including: what has happened to starred care plans; new guidelines on the use of interim care orders; and the House of Lords considerations on the human rights aspects of care planning and the Children Act 1989. Practical suggestions are offered on the immediate application of the principles stated by the House of Lords and the commentary is supplemented by precedent applications under section 7 of the Human Rights Act 1998 and a set of the materials essential for consideration in care proceedings.
