Description

The Lonely Planet's "City Guides" series provides in-depth coverage of cities around the world, in a pocket-sized format. Each guide features: detailed colour maps of the most interesting areas of the city, as well as gatefold maps on the inside front and back covers for an overview of the city; colour photographs throughout; accommodation and restaurant suggestions for a range of budgets; information on day trips away from the city; advice on getting around using public transport; a shopping guide; and a list of "musts" to see and do. This "City Guide" covers Seoul, the cultural hub of Korea. It contains complete details on getting around, and on getting beyond the metropolis into the narrow alleys and back streets, where it is possible to catch a glimpse of an older, more traditional Seoul.
