Description

This thesis looks at the health status of four prehistoric populations from coastal southeast and inland northwest Thailand. The skeletal material from these four groups totals almost 500 individuals. These are analysed as separate samples before being compared for more general trends in health, growth, disease, trauma, dental pathology and nutrition. The influence of the natural and cultural envionment are also assessed as they are regarded as significant factors in explaining the variations in health.
