内容説明
This is a comprehensive study of metalworking in modern Kenya based on over ten years research. The aim of the book is to help archaeologists to understand ancient ironworking by the use of ethnographic parallels. The focus is on American ironworking and particularly its association with the Bantu spread, but this account of metallurgy in a low-technology environment should be useful to all archaeologists and anthropologists concerned with material production.
