'The 1968 assembly reconstituted the committee and charged it to the Reformed Ecumenical Synod Australia 1972. ...After undergoing a revision by the Australian Assembly the report was adopted in the form it now has, "as a sound statement of the Reformed view of Biblical eschatology." The 1972 assembly commended it to the member churches "as a statement giving guidance to their preaching and teaching ministry."'
