内容説明
This work outlines and develops a new multi-disciplinary model for the education of dyslexic persons. It covers the identification, diagnosis and management of dyslexia. Contributions from a wide range of health professionals describe in detail how their roles combine to produce a more accurate assessment and better provision of education for dyslexics. The role of the educational psychologist, speech and language therapist, physiotherapist, OT, teacher, neurologist, paediatrician, psychiatrist, psychotherapist and orthoptist are examined and integrated into the model.
