内容説明

This text proposes to examine the historical experience, both secular and religious, of women in Flanders, one of the most economically dynamic regions of medieval Europe. The articles in this collection are written within the framework of the thesis that medieval Flemish women were more publicly visible and more integrated into their society than their counterparts in England, France, and Italy.
