Hans Crispin, a traveling shoemaker extraordinaire, has a very unusual talent. When he arrives in a village, he crafts one-of-a-kind shoes for the villagers to make their lives easier and more fun. But in town, the local cobbler becomes jealous and tricks Hans into paying a visit to a hungry giant, claiming he needs a new pair of shoes.
