内容説明・目次

内容説明

This resource provides an interactive learning approach to cardiopulmonary care. It seeks to present a multitude of topics in a seamless way for both students and clinicians. Two primary components of the text are notes on cardiopulmonary assessment and management, and case histories involving respiratory and cardiovascular conditions commonly viewed by physical therapists. Accompanying the notes are interactive questions and problems that should enable the reader to establish a foundation of core concepts. The presentation of case histories should further facilitate the development of integral skills and is designed to enable the reader to integrate those core concepts into a clinical setting. Topics include: history taking; physical examinations; chest radiology; pulmonary function testing; mobility and exercise testing; clinical decision making; breathing exercises; and airway clearance techniques.
