Description

This publication contains two papers prepared in relation to the UNECE Regional Forum, held in November 2003 in Moscow, to discuss the effects of market reforms introduced in transitional economies and the social effects of programmes to restructure industrial sectors of the economy to improve competitiveness. The first is a background paper prepared for the Forum, whilst the second paper sets out an analytical report based on the findings of the Forum.
