Description
The 15 articles in the 2008 edition of the annual series review recent research findings on the etiological processes of mental disorders and the most effective approaches to their treatment. The opening chapter explains the rationale behind ecological momentary assessment (EMA), describes EMA designs, and compares EMA data to static retrospective reports. Other topics include measuring human life stress, cost-effective early childhood development programs, neuropsychological rehabilitation, pediatric bipolar disorder, the behavioral genetics of personality disorder, binge eating disorder, and psychosocial factors affecting coronary heart disease.
