Description
First published in 1952.
This is a study of the Chinese Communist Party line, in its development over a period of thirty years, from 1921-1950. Forty key documents (in Chinese, Japanese and Russian) have been selected which mark significant stages or aspects of the ideological development of the Communist movement in China. The documents are supported by critical commentaries which give an account of the major developments in Chinese Communist strategy over the years.
There is an extensive bibliography, index and glossary of Chinese names and terms.
