内容説明
This catalogue of the exhibition mounted by the PAC (Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea of Milan) has an introduction by the curator Roberto Pinto, a preface by the artistic director Jean-Hubert Martin, and essays by seven authors who present the show's artists and provide viewers with an understanding of the various works exhibited. Mario Airo, Massimo Bartolini, Loris Cecchini, Alberto Garutti, Marzia Migliora, Luca Pancrazi and Patrick Tuttofuoco are among some of the most interesting Italian artists of the new generation and have all worked on the concept of visible and useful space. The joint exhibition offers different approaches to the transformation of space and places. The seven artists have used and modified the space of the PAC in an attempt to redefine it using site-specific installations that interact with the exhibition structure. These works of art were created neither as paintings nor sculptures, but lights, smells and sounds that take possession of the places and which involve the viewer on a physical and emotional level. They are completely new installations that modify one's perception of the PAC itself.
