Description

This book deals with Image Processing and Image Analysis, which are rapidly evolving technologies in measurement of non-electrical data. The main reason for this is the relative cost-effectiveness of a system consisting of a camera and a PC equipped with Image Processing and Analysis Software. On the other hand, new technologies require new methods and algorithms. This book describes not only the basic methods of Image Processing and Analysis, but also key issues related to image generation and image distribution, which may effect the entire measuring process. National Instruments, the "Measurement Company", provides with LabVIEW and IMAQ Vision, tools for constructing these algorithms, which are a breakthrough in computer programming.
