Description and Table of Contents

Description

"Civil Litigation" is a self-contained reference book, designed as a core text on the Legal Practice Course. It describes, with illustrations and precedents, the whole of the litigation process, from obtaining instructions through to trial and enforcement of judgments. This new edition includes all recent changes to the Civil Procedure Rules. It has also been updated to be more accessible to students, and includes a number of keynote summaries and flowcharts. It contains detailed guidance on what students should understand before going into practice and its practioner focus helps them deal with the harder texts they will use once they have completed the Legal Practice Course. The section on the impact of the Human Rights Act on Civil Llitigation introduces students to an increasingly important area of the law which will be crucial in practice.
