Description and Table of Contents
Description
Like its predecessor, this book provides easy access to information on records and wins achieved in the United States or by U.S. citizens abroad. Each record or win has been classified and arranged by a subject heading suggested by the Library of Congress. In each case, data on the source of the information are given, with the title of the publication, date, and pagination. Information about these records has been gathered from such sources as The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Sporting News, The Statistical Abstract of the United States, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. Thomas P. Slavens is a professor at the University of Michigan's School of Information and Library Studies.
